Hotels in Hong Kong in Tsim Sha Tsui
Choosing accommodation in Tsim Sha Tsui is hard not because of the lack, but because of the excessive number of choices. Everything from 5 star hotels, including one regularly listed as the best in the world, through to small hostels for those with little to no budget.
Many hotels chains have more than one hotel in the region, for example The Langham and the Intercontinental. Hence take extra care when booking to select the specific one you are interested in.
Luxury
There are no shortage of luxury hotels in the district, you can choose from historic or modern but they all have 5 star facilities, except of course for outside. Being city hotels there are no gardens or other outside facilities in Tsim Sha Tsui hotels, many offer rooftop or indoor swimming pools though.

- Sheraton Hotel - An imposing block with Hong Kong's first outside bubble lift it is now aging but has maintained high standards and remains one of Hong Kong's go-to hotels
- Intercontinental - With two hotels in Tsim Sha Tsui the Intercontinental brand offers luxury accommodation on the waterfront with great views of the harbour.
- The Langham Hotel - This modern chain has two hotels in Kowloon, one in Tsim Sha Tsui and one more northerly on the site of the old Mongkok Bird Market at Shanghai Street.
- Kowloon Shangri-la - Together with it's Hong Kong Island based "Island Shangri-La" this 5 star hotel offers outstanding rooms and facilities.
Mid-range
Many hotels may not be famous but provide good quality accommodation at reasonable rates without being luxurious. In this category of mid-range hotels in Tsim Sha Tsui are many but include Hotel Panorama, Holiday Inn Golden Mile, the Salisbury YMCA and The Kowloon Hotel .
Budget
Hotels with lower cost are to be found all over the district, there are many within the well known building on Nathan Road called Chun King Mansions, but others can be found which are easier to access. Consider the Tsim Sha Tsui Hostel, which is a small hotel not really a hostel, and Lee Garden Guest House.
Hostel
There are no actual hostels as normally understood within Tsim Sha Tsui, though some budget hotels do use this term in their name. Even the YMCA in Tsim Sha Tsui is actually a 4 star hotel, named The Salisbury after the road it is located on. The Hong Kong Youth Hostels Association is developing a new hostel scheduled for opening in mid 2013 in the Shep Kip Mei area of Sham Shui Po district just north of TST.
